Housing Market
Huntersville is one of the hottest suburban areas for growth in the greater Charlotte region. Located north of Uptown, near Lake Norman, the area has seen booming growth in the past two decades, with population estimates up 20x times since 1990, when the area was a small town with only a few thousand residents. Large land tracts and farm sales have enabled growth to continue, and housing developers are maxing out potential housing developments in this small town.
Some of the largest home developers in this area are Pulte Home and D.R. Horton. Vermillion by Pulte Homes, is one of the most desirable communities, near the small and quaint area of downtown Huntersville. Heading into 2023, D.R. Horton is kicking off a new planned development called Oak Grove Hill and John Wieland will be opening the community, Camden. Both are sure to sell quickly in this hot market!
